So uhh Yeah . . . I love good food, have since I was a little child. My grandma used to cook all kind of good stuff and make freakin' killer deserts and goodies. She kept a big freezer in the pantry area stocked with ice cream an other yummy things just waiting to be defrosted and chowed upon. She was a great cook and tended to encourage everyone to eat, eat, eat.
Growing up I came to love spaghetti which was something my Dad used to cook a lot. We even used to have cold leftover spaghetti sandwiches sometimes....mmm....lol.
Eating all that tasty stuff, drinking the craft beers I love, and working behind a computer the majority of every day is just not a sustainable or healthy thing to do really. Easy to put on the pounds, tougher to take 'em off ya know. Bummer!
Currently I'm eating vegetarian / vegan. Lot's of water, fruits, vegetables, whole grains, greens, stuff like that. It does not take long to start feeling better, more energetic, and the pounds start to come off which is great. I have to work at it after so many years of eating a different way. Breaking old habits can be tough sometimes, especially when we are bombarded by ads for fast foods and junk basically 24/7 everywhere we go. Hey, It's America man, you know?
Aside from loving food, I do love good beer and even wine now and then. I am a fan of strong craft beers, not fizzy yellow beers with no flavor and that just make you burp if you now what I mean.
